Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in academic and personal development through tailored learning activities
- Prepare and deliver engaging classroom and small-group sessions
- Assist in fostering emotional, social, and physical growth in students
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver lessons both indoors and outdoors
- Provide individualised support to students with diverse needs
- Promote confidence and independence through positive reinforcement and guidance
- Work in a flexible and team-focused environment with colleagues
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A caring and adaptable approach to working with students with complex needs
- Confidence in delivering learning in a range of settings
- Ability to respond to individual student needs with patience and understanding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Preferred
- Experience working with students with SEMH, communication and interaction needs
- Previous experience in a teaching or support role
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices
- Experience with outdoor learning and activity-based teaching
