Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in academic and personal development through tailored learning activities
  • Prepare and deliver engaging classroom and small-group sessions
  • Assist in fostering emotional, social, and physical growth in students
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver lessons both indoors and outdoors
  • Provide individualised support to students with diverse needs
  • Promote confidence and independence through positive reinforcement and guidance
  • Work in a flexible and team-focused environment with colleagues
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A caring and adaptable approach to working with students with complex needs
  • Confidence in delivering learning in a range of settings
  • Ability to respond to individual student needs with patience and understanding
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with SEMH, communication and interaction needs
  • Previous experience in a teaching or support role
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices
  • Experience with outdoor learning and activity-based teaching
