Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs in a structured and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver individualized learning plans and support classroom activities
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum tailored to students' specific needs
- Provide one-to-one support to students to enhance their learning and independence
- Contribute to a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and support documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching strategies
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSE Level 4 or equivalent in English and Math’s (desirable)
- Ability to work effectively with children and young people with additional and complex needs
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient with a good sense of humour
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
Preferred
- Experience working in a special education setting
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and curriculum design
- Experience supporting students with autism or PMLD
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and inclusive teaching strategies
