The Opportunity:
Join a school as a Teaching Assistant and make a real difference in the lives of students. Support classroom activities, provide individualised learning, and help pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom activities and deliver hands-on learning experiences
- Lead small group sessions and provide 1:1 support tailored to each pupil’s needs
- Encourage confidence, independence, and curiosity in every pupil
- Work across indoor and outdoor settings, making learning engaging and fun
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and therapists to enhance pupils’ learning and wellbeing
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Caring, patient, and adaptable
- Experience in working with children or holding GCSEs in English and Maths
- Comfortable supporting pupils in a variety of classroom and outdoor environments
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence
Preferred
- Experience in special education or trauma-informed practice
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
