Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering learning activities and managing student behavior.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual learning plans and support strategies.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with additional needs.
- Monitor and record student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and parents.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.
- Support the organization and management of classroom resources and materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and support practices.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- NVQ Level 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with students in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering targeted support to students with additional needs.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and strategies.
- Experience with curriculum planning and delivery.
- Familiarity with behaviour management techniques.
