The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the learning process by working closely with the class teacher and other staff. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students while contributing to a dynamic and improving educational institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
- Support pupils in classes or other appropriate locations with supervision and guidance.
- Work with groups or individual pupils to enhance their learning experience.
- Contribute to the development of inclusive learning environments.
- Provide support to students with additional needs when required.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
- Promote positive behaviour and create a safe and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant qualifications and experience in education or a related field.
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and support a range of learning needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and practices.
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
- Familiarity with current educational policies and curriculum requirements.
