Teaching Assistant job opportunity with 28.75 hours per week, term time only.

The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the learning process by working closely with the class teacher and other staff. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students while contributing to a dynamic and improving educational institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
  • Support pupils in classes or other appropriate locations with supervision and guidance.
  • Work with groups or individual pupils to enhance their learning experience.
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive learning environments.
  • Provide support to students with additional needs when required.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
  • Promote positive behaviour and create a safe and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and support a range of learning needs.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and practices.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
  • Familiarity with current educational policies and curriculum requirements.
