The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities.
  • Assist in the supervision of groups or individual pupils in a variety of settings.
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive learning strategies tailored to student needs.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students requiring additional assistance.
  • Monitor and record student progress and communicate updates to the teaching team.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the learning process.
  • Promote a positive and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other support staff to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
  • Experience in a teaching or learning support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Experience in a school setting within a multi-academy trust.
