Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in their learning and development, particularly those with special needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during lessons and activities.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality educational support.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of learning activities tailored to individual needs.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement.
- Provide regular feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Support the school’s ethos and values by modeling positive behavior and encouraging student collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a teaching or support role, ideally within a school environment.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to support a range of student needs.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly in a primary school.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and strategies.
- Experience with curriculum planning and delivery.
