The Opportunity:
A Teaching Assistant is sought to provide high-level support in the Prep or Pre-Prep department, helping children reach their full potential. This role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced professional who is passionate about education and child development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and classroom management
- Assist with individual and group learning activities tailored to student needs
- Help prepare and organize classroom resources and materials
- Monitor and support student progress and behavior
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Support extracurricular activities and school events
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to supporting student learning and development
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, with a minimum of four full days per week
Preferred
- Experience working with children aged 3 to 13
- Knowledge of early years or primary education
- Familiarity with co-educational environments
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on scholarships and academic achievement
