The Opportunity:

A Teaching Assistant is sought to provide high-level support in the Prep or Pre-Prep department, helping children reach their full potential. This role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced professional who is passionate about education and child development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and classroom management
  • Assist with individual and group learning activities tailored to student needs
  • Help prepare and organize classroom resources and materials
  • Monitor and support student progress and behavior
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
  • Support extracurricular activities and school events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to supporting student learning and development
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, with a minimum of four full days per week

Preferred

  • Experience working with children aged 3 to 13
  • Knowledge of early years or primary education
  • Familiarity with co-educational environments
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on scholarships and academic achievement
