The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching and learning process in a dynamic and academic environment.
  • Assist with the delivery of lessons and the management of classroom activities.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitor and support student progress, ensuring consistent development.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of teaching resources and materials.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance teaching and support strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to supporting student learning and development.

Preferred

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Experience with Technology Enhanced Learning and use of digital tools in education.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
  • Experience in a school with a strong pastoral and academic focus.
