Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching and learning process in a dynamic and academic environment.
- Assist with the delivery of lessons and the management of classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to enhance the learning experience.
- Monitor and support student progress, ensuring consistent development.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of teaching resources and materials.
- Engage in professional development to enhance teaching and support strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to supporting student learning and development.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Experience with Technology Enhanced Learning and use of digital tools in education.
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
- Experience in a school with a strong pastoral and academic focus.
