Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs and ensure they are fully engaged in learning.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support during whole-class, one-to-one, and small group activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver the curriculum effectively and consistently.
- Provide practical and emotional support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Monitor and report on student progress to class teachers.
- Participate in planning and preparing resources for lessons.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the school’s mission of putting students first through consistent and dedicated assistance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with students, particularly those with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support teaching staff.
- Commitment to student welfare and academic achievement.
- Flexibility and willingness to work term-time and across different settings.
Preferred
- Previous experience in an educational setting, ideally as a Teaching Assistant.
- Experience with behaviour management strategies.
