The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
  • Prepare and implement engaging and innovative teaching resources and lesson plans.
  • Support students in achieving academic success and fostering a love of Science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the overall school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the school’s mission of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proficient level of English (Mother tongue / C2 / C1).
  • First Degree in Science, with a specialisation in Biology.
  • A P.G.C.E. or equivalent UK Teacher Education qualification, or Spanish teaching qualification (Masters Degree).
  • Experience teaching the British curriculum at the Secondary level.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international or British curriculum school.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
