Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of support programmes tailored to students' needs.
  • Work closely with the SENCO to ensure students have access to the curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the school's mission of inspiring students to aspire, believe, and achieve.
  • Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
  • Ensure the safe and well-managed use of school facilities and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with young people or in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work term time only.

Preferred

  • Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience with curriculum delivery and assessment.
  • Previous teaching or learning support experience.
