Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist in the development and delivery of support programmes tailored to students' needs.
- Work closely with the SENCO to ensure students have access to the curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the school's mission of inspiring students to aspire, believe, and achieve.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
- Ensure the safe and well-managed use of school facilities and resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with young people or in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Flexibility and willingness to work term time only.
Preferred
- Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with curriculum delivery and assessment.
- Previous teaching or learning support experience.
