Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality Science lessons in Physics and Chemistry.
- Work closely with experienced mentors to enhance teaching and classroom management skills.
- Participate in both online and face-to-face training provided by United Teaching.
- Engage in regular, research-based professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the United Learning group to share best practices.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized and structured teaching.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and performance.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and teaching resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Science (Physics or Chemistry) or a related subject.
- Eligibility for a teaching bursary or salary enhancement scheme.
- Commitment to completing the teacher training programme and obtaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Science and a desire to inspire students.
Preferred
- Previous experience in teaching or education-related roles.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience working in a school or educational environment.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Bursary of £29,000, subject to eligibility.
