Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Technology lessons in a disruption-free classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with experienced mentors and subject specialists to enhance teaching practice.
  • Participate in structured training and CPD opportunities provided by United Teaching and the school.
  • Plan and implement a well-resourced Technology curriculum with support from the department.
  • Engage in regular learning walks and receive incremental feedback to improve teaching effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the behaviour and inclusion teams to support student needs and maintain a positive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and teaching policies.
  • Build strong relationships with trainees and colleagues across the United Learning group.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility for the Bursary and commitment to completing the Teacher Training Programme.
  • A passion for teaching Technology and a desire to support student achievement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a related field or prior teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
