The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated UCAS Administrator to support the College’s student application process and ensure a smooth administrative cycle. This role is integral to helping students achieve their higher education goals and plays a key part in the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the UCAS application process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Provide structured support and guidance to students throughout the application journey
- Coordinate with internal teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
- Monitor and report on application progress, identifying and resolving any issues promptly
- Assist with the collation and submission of required documentation for UCAS and other relevant bodies
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and staff to ensure a seamless experience
- Support the College’s administrative systems and ensure compliance with all UCAS guidelines
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the UCAS process through feedback and data analysis
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing
- Proficiency in using UCAS and other relevant administrative software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
Preferred
- Experience in managing the UCAS process or similar admissions systems
- Knowledge of the UK higher education application process
- Experience with student support and guidance
- Familiarity with educational IT systems and software
- Previous experience within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation
