The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds in a nurturing, international setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and statutory documentation.
  • Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss student performance and development.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning, making necessary adjustments.
  • Implement and follow all school policies, including health and safety, attendance, and emergency procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support students during playtimes, lunchtimes, and assemblies when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified primary teacher with experience in Upper Key Stage 2.
  • EU or British nationality status.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and DFE standards.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
  • Willingness to learn Spanish for better integration into the local community.
  • Experience in delivering enrichment activities and extracurricular programs.
  • Familiarity with international education settings.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of 28,000€ gross per year.
