The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds in a nurturing, international setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and statutory documentation.
- Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss student performance and development.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning, making necessary adjustments.
- Implement and follow all school policies, including health and safety, attendance, and emergency procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students during playtimes, lunchtimes, and assemblies when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified primary teacher with experience in Upper Key Stage 2.
- EU or British nationality status.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and DFE standards.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
- Willingness to learn Spanish for better integration into the local community.
- Experience in delivering enrichment activities and extracurricular programs.
- Familiarity with international education settings.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of 28,000€ gross per year.
