Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and English National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and learning experiences.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s ongoing curriculum enhancement initiatives.
- Engage with parents and the school community through regular communication and involvement in school events.
- Support the school’s mission by promoting a culture of care, respect, and academic excellence.
- Stay current with educational trends and best practices in teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching in an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and English National Curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective, engaging lessons for Upper Primary students.
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
- Fluency in a second language.
- Experience in a Christian-based educational environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of care and character development.
