The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice Principal and Professor to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a growing institution. This role offers the opportunity to shape educational excellence, drive innovation, and contribute to the long-term vision of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the academic and operational functions of the institution.
  • Collaborate with the Principal, CEO, and Board Members to ensure alignment with the school’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Implement and enhance quality assurance and accountability processes.
  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for post-16 students.
  • Support and lead professional development initiatives for staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, and external partners.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of international academic pathways and programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership and management experience in an educational setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of effective pedagogy, particularly for post-16 students.
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in managing academic programs and institutional operations.

Preferred

  • Experience with international academic pathways or partnerships.
  • Background in higher education or post-16 teaching.
  • Familiarity with NCUK or similar international qualification programs.
  • Experience in school leadership or progression toward headship roles.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
