The Opportunity:

As Vice Principal, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple schools, with a focus on senior education and Sixth Form. This is a key leadership role that supports the school’s mission and values, while ensuring the highest standards of teaching and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic educational leadership across all schools within the Group, with a focus on senior schools and Sixth Form.
  • Deputise for the Principal and support the day-to-day running of the schools.
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Senior Schools and Sixth Form.
  • Chair Senior Management Team meetings and monitor teaching and learning standards.
  • Support and develop teaching staff through CPD and staff well-being initiatives.
  • Oversee examination analysis, curriculum development, and staff recruitment processes.
  • Engage with Governors and lead the school through inspection processes.
  • Ensure alignment with the school’s values and mission across all leadership activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven senior leadership experience in the independent education sector.
  • Demonstrable expertise in educational management and staff development.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing complex school operations and leadership teams.

Preferred

  • Experience in boarding education.
  • Understanding of the independent school landscape.
  • Familiarity with the Diamond School model.
