The Opportunity:
As Vice Principal, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple schools, with a focus on senior education and Sixth Form. This is a key leadership role that supports the school’s mission and values, while ensuring the highest standards of teaching and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic educational leadership across all schools within the Group, with a focus on senior schools and Sixth Form.
- Deputise for the Principal and support the day-to-day running of the schools.
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Senior Schools and Sixth Form.
- Chair Senior Management Team meetings and monitor teaching and learning standards.
- Support and develop teaching staff through CPD and staff well-being initiatives.
- Oversee examination analysis, curriculum development, and staff recruitment processes.
- Engage with Governors and lead the school through inspection processes.
- Ensure alignment with the school’s values and mission across all leadership activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven senior leadership experience in the independent education sector.
- Demonstrable expertise in educational management and staff development.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing complex school operations and leadership teams.
Preferred
- Experience in boarding education.
- Understanding of the independent school landscape.
- Familiarity with the Diamond School model.
