The Opportunity:

As Vice Principal, you will play a key role in driving the school’s continued excellence and supporting the development of young people in a disadvantaged community. This is a leadership role that offers the chance to make a real difference in education and student lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Principal in the strategic direction and management of the school.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
  • Manage and develop staff, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Implement and monitor the school’s leadership programme and character development initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to maintain the school’s outstanding Ofsted rating.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and student well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s academic and leadership strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Proven experience in senior leadership and management within a school setting.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Strong commitment to leadership values and the school’s mission.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
  • Experience in leading and developing leadership programmes.
  • Experience in working with disadvantaged communities.
  • Experience in school improvement or turnaround initiatives.
