The Opportunity:
As Vice Principal, you will play a key role in driving the school’s continued excellence and supporting the development of young people in a disadvantaged community. This is a leadership role that offers the chance to make a real difference in education and student lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the Principal in the strategic direction and management of the school.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
- Manage and develop staff, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Implement and monitor the school’s leadership programme and character development initiatives.
- Work closely with senior leadership to maintain the school’s outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and student well-being.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school’s academic and leadership strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- Proven experience in senior leadership and management within a school setting.
- Demonstrated success in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Strong commitment to leadership values and the school’s mission.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
- Experience in leading and developing leadership programmes.
- Experience in working with disadvantaged communities.
- Experience in school improvement or turnaround initiatives.
