Visual Arts Teacher position available for Grades 7–12 in an international school.

The Opportunity:
A Visual Arts Teacher is needed to inspire and guide students in Grades 7–12 through a pre-IB and IB Diploma Visual Arts curriculum. This role offers the chance to shape young artists, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in a vibrant, international school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based Visual Arts lessons for Grades 7–12.
- Support students in developing their artistic skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including exhibitions and events.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth.
- Provide individualized feedback and mentorship to students.
- Contribute to the school’s artistic and cultural life through community engagement.
- May be required to take on boarding duties or professional sports coaching.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Degree in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a closely related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification for secondary schools.
- Proven experience teaching Visual Arts in a secondary school setting, ideally including the IB Diploma Visual Arts programme.
- Strong commitment to student-centred, inquiry-based learning.
- Ability to inspire creativity and independent artistic practice.
- Experience working in an international school environment.
Preferred
- Experience with pre-IB Visual Arts curriculum.
- Experience in boarding or sports coaching.
- Fluency in additional languages.
