The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Visual Arts Teacher to join our Secondary School team. This role offers the opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to a vibrant, student-centered learning environment rooted in Chinese culture and global perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Visual Arts across the Secondary School curriculum, including IB MYP and DP Visual Arts.
  • Design and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that align with the school’s educational philosophy.
  • Support students in developing their artistic skills and creative thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and co-curricular programs.
  • Participate in tutor groups, experiential learning activities, and other aspects of school life.
  • Utilize IT and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Mentor and guide students in their artistic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in Education.
  • Solid experience in teaching Visual Arts to Secondary School students.
  • Commitment to co-curricular activities, tutor groups, and experiential learning.
  • Strong IT and curriculum development skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching IB MYP Visual Arts.
  • Experience in teaching IB DP Visual Arts.
  • Experience in a bilingual working environment.
