The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Weekend Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the school. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas remain welcoming and well-maintained for students and staff. The position is a term-time opportunity with additional hours during school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain floors, corridors, and rooms using vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
Ensure bathrooms and toilets are thoroughly cleaned to the highest standards.
Store all cleaning materials safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Follow all procedures and protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Adhere to the school’s health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Assist with general cleaning tasks as required during weekends and holidays.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all areas of the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and school holidays.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

Preferred

Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in cleaning environments.
Experience with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
