The Opportunity:
As a Wrap Around Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of children during after-school hours. This is a part-time, term-time only role with a strong emphasis on care, communication, and organisation. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise children during after-school care sessions.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and structured environment for all students.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and activities.
- Collaborate with other members of the care team to provide consistent support.
- Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages confidence and independence.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Prior experience working with children.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment.
- Commitment to the well-being and development of children.
Preferred
- Level 3 childcare qualification.
- Experience in a school or care setting.
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in child care.
