The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our Breakfast Club team. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support children in a nurturing and structured environment, while contributing to the overall success of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive and professional relationships with parents/carers and pupils.
  • Support pupils in safe and engaging activities during breakfast club hours.
  • Uphold standards of healthy eating and table manners.
  • Ensure a safe and happy environment for pupils at Breakfast Club.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Implement safeguarding procedures effectively and consistently.
  • Promote the importance of education and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Support the development of pupils' personal and social skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience of working with children and young people.
  • A professional, engaging and nurturing personality.
  • A genuine passion for education and its promotion.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • Ability to follow and enforce school policies and procedures.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Experience with hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work term time only.
