The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Wrap Around Care Assistant to join our Breakfast Club team. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support children in a nurturing and structured environment, while contributing to the overall success of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop positive and professional relationships with parents/carers and pupils.
- Support pupils in safe and engaging activities during breakfast club hours.
- Uphold standards of healthy eating and table manners.
- Ensure a safe and happy environment for pupils at Breakfast Club.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Implement safeguarding procedures effectively and consistently.
- Promote the importance of education and encourage positive behaviour.
- Support the development of pupils' personal and social skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience of working with children and young people.
- A professional, engaging and nurturing personality.
- A genuine passion for education and its promotion.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- Ability to follow and enforce school policies and procedures.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of positive behaviour management strategies.
- Experience with hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Flexibility and willingness to work term time only.
