The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing meaningful feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
  • Support students with additional needs and those with high learning potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.
  • Participate in pastoral care, safeguarding, and school-wide activities, including clubs and duties.
  • Contribute to the school’s Christian ethos and community values.
  • Support both day and boarding pupils in their academic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching qualification and experience in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively and support students of all abilities.
  • Experience in pastoral care and safeguarding.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Year 2 or similar age group.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
  • Passion for inspiring a love of learning and personal growth.
