The Opportunity:

We are seeking an A Level Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction and support student achievement. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and shape the future of mathematics education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress accurately and consistently.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice with colleagues.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and guidance.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with current A Level specifications and pedagogical developments.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
  • A PGCE or Certificate in Education.
  • In-depth knowledge of current A Level Maths and/or Further Maths specifications.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A Level Mathematics.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
  • Experience in working within a college or sixth form setting.
  • Familiarity with digital and interactive teaching tools.
