The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress accurately and consistently.
- Contribute to curriculum development and share best practice with colleagues.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and guidance.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
- Stay up to date with current A Level specifications and pedagogical developments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
- A PGCE or Certificate in Education.
- In-depth knowledge of current A Level Maths and/or Further Maths specifications.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A Level Mathematics.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Experience in working within a college or sixth form setting.
- Familiarity with digital and interactive teaching tools.
