The Opportunity:

As an Administration Assistant, you will be a vital part of the school’s daily operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for students, parents, and visitors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional front of house reception service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school.
  • Welcome and manage all visitors, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health and safety policies.
  • Support the management of student registration, including contacting parents regarding unauthorised absences.
  • Manage and maintain school noticeboards, ensuring they are presentable and up to date.
  • Coordinate and manage school events, including Open Days, under the direction of the Deputy Principal.
  • Administer the ordering and management of office supplies and stationery.
  • Liaise with the IT department to manage copier resources across the school.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and complete safeguarding training as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in a school or administrative environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and health and safety policies.

Preferred

  • Experience with school registration systems.
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
  • Experience in event management or coordination.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in a safeguarding role or training.
