As an Administration Assistant, you will be a vital part of the school’s daily operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for students, parents, and visitors. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional front of house reception service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school.
- Welcome and manage all visitors, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health and safety policies.
- Support the management of student registration, including contacting parents regarding unauthorised absences.
- Manage and maintain school noticeboards, ensuring they are presentable and up to date.
- Coordinate and manage school events, including Open Days, under the direction of the Deputy Principal.
- Administer the ordering and management of office supplies and stationery.
- Liaise with the IT department to manage copier resources across the school.
- Attend weekly team meetings and complete safeguarding training as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience in a school or administrative environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and health and safety policies.
Preferred
- Experience with school registration systems.
- Knowledge of educational policies and procedures.
- Experience in event management or coordination.
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in a safeguarding role or training.
