The Opportunity:
As an Arabic Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality Arabic language instruction at the Secondary School level. This is a part-time role with the potential to become full-time, offering the chance to join a supportive and experienced teaching team dedicated to academic excellence and student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Arabic as a foreign language to Secondary School students.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the school’s high academic standards.
- Support student learning through the development of individualized learning strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methodologies.
- Participate in the school’s professional development and wellbeing initiatives.
- Promote the school’s values of integrity, learning, caring, and respect in daily teaching practice.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering multilingualism and international-mindedness.
- Work closely with the MYP team to align teaching practices with IB standards where applicable.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university.
- Recognised teaching status.
- Previous experience in teaching Arabic as a foreign language.
- Commitment to the school’s values and learning principles.
Preferred
- Experience and/or knowledge of the IB MYP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of emotional intelligence and growth mindset.
- Experience in promoting student wellbeing and personal development.
