The Opportunity:

As an Arabic Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality Arabic language instruction at the Secondary School level. This is a part-time role with the potential to become full-time, offering the chance to join a supportive and experienced teaching team dedicated to academic excellence and student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Arabic as a foreign language to Secondary School students.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the school’s high academic standards.
  • Support student learning through the development of individualized learning strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methodologies.
  • Participate in the school’s professional development and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Promote the school’s values of integrity, learning, caring, and respect in daily teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering multilingualism and international-mindedness.
  • Work closely with the MYP team to align teaching practices with IB standards where applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university.
  • Recognised teaching status.
  • Previous experience in teaching Arabic as a foreign language.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and learning principles.

Preferred

  • Experience and/or knowledge of the IB MYP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of emotional intelligence and growth mindset.
  • Experience in promoting student wellbeing and personal development.
