Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PYP English instruction to primary students, aligned with the IB framework.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning across the school.
- Develop and implement engaging, innovative lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and student needs.
- Support students in developing language skills, critical thinking, and international-mindedness.
- Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and community-building initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of excellence, multilingualism, and global citizenship.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university
- Recognised teaching status
- At least two years of relevant teaching experience
- Proven experience teaching English as a first language in Primary schools
Preferred
- Experience in a bilingual Primary school
- Experience and/or knowledge of the IB Primary Years Programme
