Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Arabic language instruction to secondary students using innovative and engaging teaching methods.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, styles, and abilities.
  • Assess and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Promote UAE culture and heritage within the Arabic curriculum and school community.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to departmental discussions and planning.
  • Engage with parents and the wider community through school events and communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant degree in Arabic language with a teaching qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience in UAE for Arabic A and B subjects in Secondary school department
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK Curriculum and current teaching practices
  • Strong IT skills and command of English in both spoken and written form
  • Experience working with EAL, ELL, and SEND students
  • Proven classroom management skills

Preferred

  • Experience with online and classroom teaching
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Experience in safeguarding and child protection
