Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Arabic language instruction to secondary students using innovative and engaging teaching methods.
- Plan and deliver lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, styles, and abilities.
- Assess and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Promote UAE culture and heritage within the Arabic curriculum and school community.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to departmental discussions and planning.
- Engage with parents and the wider community through school events and communication.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant degree in Arabic language with a teaching qualification
- Minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience in UAE for Arabic A and B subjects in Secondary school department
- Excellent knowledge of the UK Curriculum and current teaching practices
- Strong IT skills and command of English in both spoken and written form
- Experience working with EAL, ELL, and SEND students
- Proven classroom management skills
Preferred
- Experience with online and classroom teaching
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Experience in safeguarding and child protection
