Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality, engaging Art and Design curriculum to students across key stages.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
  • Support student progress through effective lesson planning, assessment, and feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Art and Technology faculty.
  • Promote a culture of care, inclusion, and academic excellence within the school community.
  • Participate in professional development and school initiatives that support student well-being and achievement.
  • Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities and creative projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and Design.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching across key stages or subjects within the Art and Technology faculty.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching Art and Design.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student well-being initiatives.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
