Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high-quality, engaging Art and Design curriculum to students across key stages.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
- Support student progress through effective lesson planning, assessment, and feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Art and Technology faculty.
- Promote a culture of care, inclusion, and academic excellence within the school community.
- Participate in professional development and school initiatives that support student well-being and achievement.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities and creative projects.
- Maintain accurate records and follow school policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and Design.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching across key stages or subjects within the Art and Technology faculty.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching Art and Design.
- Experience in pastoral care or student well-being initiatives.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
