As an Assistant Headteacher (Primary Phase), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a school experiencing rapid growth and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the primary phase.
- Work closely with the Headteacher to develop and implement strategic priorities for the school.
- Manage and mentor staff to ensure continuous improvement in teaching and student outcomes.
- Oversee the effective management of the primary phase, including curriculum development and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that supports the well-being of all students and staff.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring that all learners achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure a seamless transition between phases.
- Represent the school at various events and meetings, both internally and externally.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a primary school setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- In-depth knowledge of the primary curriculum and current educational best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and students.
- Experience in driving school improvement and achieving high standards in student outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience in a school that is part of a multi-academy trust or similar structure.
- Familiarity with the use of data to inform teaching and learning strategies.
- Experience in leading whole-school initiatives or projects.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted inspection processes and requirements.
