The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Assistant Principal - Academic and Data Timetabling to support the school’s mission of raising standards and driving continuous improvement. This role offers the chance to contribute to academic leadership, data timetabling, and to help shape the future of a school on an upward trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee academic operations and data timetabling processes.
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team in driving up standards and ensuring high-quality teaching.
  • Monitor and analyze data to inform decision-making and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with department heads and staff to develop and implement academic strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and external regulations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Support the school in achieving its vision of "challenge for all" and ensuring no student is left behind.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Strong track record of achieving excellent outcomes for students.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a focus on data and timetabling.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Commitment to the principles of instruction and knowledge-rich curriculum.

Preferred

  • Experience in data analysis and management within an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with OFSTED standards and school improvement strategies.
  • Experience in leading or supporting CPD and staff development initiatives.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire others.
