The Opportunity:

As a Pastoral Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting student wellbeing and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the Pastoral Team. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact on student lives while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record sanctions and attendance on ClassCharts and Arbor, producing regular behavioural reports for staff.
  • Monitor and maintain the SLT call out system, ensuring accurate logging against student records.
  • Provide administrative support to the Pastoral Team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students through effective communication and record-keeping.
  • Support the implementation of ARK values (Aspiration, Resilience, Kindness) within the school community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school and trust to share resources and improve standards.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time, supporting the overall mission of the school.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in administrative work within a busy educational setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to support others during busy periods.
  • Proficiency in using school management systems such as ClassCharts and Arbor.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Experience in a pastoral or student support role within a school.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the ARK values and ethos.
  • Experience in a school that is part of a multi-academy trust.
