Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the teaching and learning strategy to ensure high standards of academic achievement.
- Manage and develop a high-achieving faculty through effective leadership and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across the school to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement school-wide initiatives that promote student success and leadership growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the school community.
- Support the delivery of a rich and diverse leadership programme that inspires character and social action.
- Ensure the school’s curriculum is aligned with its mission to develop successful and inspirational leaders.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of pupil behavior and attainment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience of managing a high-achieving faculty.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Strong commitment to the STAR values.
Preferred
- Experience in senior leadership or a desire to progress into senior leadership.
- Experience in leading teaching and learning initiatives.
- A passion for working with young people in disadvantaged communities.
- Experience in developing and implementing leadership programmes.
