Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the teaching and learning strategy to ensure high standards of academic achievement.
  • Manage and develop a high-achieving faculty through effective leadership and professional development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across the school to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement school-wide initiatives that promote student success and leadership growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the school community.
  • Support the delivery of a rich and diverse leadership programme that inspires character and social action.
  • Ensure the school’s curriculum is aligned with its mission to develop successful and inspirational leaders.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of pupil behavior and attainment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Experience of managing a high-achieving faculty.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Strong commitment to the STAR values.

Preferred

  • Experience in senior leadership or a desire to progress into senior leadership.
  • Experience in leading teaching and learning initiatives.
  • A passion for working with young people in disadvantaged communities.
  • Experience in developing and implementing leadership programmes.
