The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Bilingual Chemistry and Biology Teacher to join our high school program and deliver Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level courses to motivated, high-achieving students. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a rigorous academic environment that emphasizes critical thinking and practical application in science education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry and/or Biology courses to a diverse and high-achieving student body
• Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based science lessons that align with international curriculum standards
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and student development
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and academic success
• Participate in curriculum development and school-based initiatives
• Provide individualized support and feedback to students to enhance their academic performance
• Stay updated with scientific advancements and incorporate them into teaching practices
• Contribute to the school’s mission of preparing students for successful university and career pathways

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Chemistry and/or Biology at the high school level
• Confident in delivering Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curricula
• Strong command of both English and Chinese
• Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students in a high-performing academic environment
• Commitment to maintaining high academic standards and student success

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Science Education or related field
• Experience with international curricula such as IBDP or AP
• Experience in a bilingual teaching environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in curriculum development or academic leadership
