The Opportunity:

As an English Teacher (AP), you will deliver high-quality instruction to students following both standard and advanced academic pathways. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons that foster deep conceptual understanding
• Teach advanced and AP-level English courses such as AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature and Composition
• Prepare students for academic assessments and external examinations
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine and strengthen the English program
• Support students in developing academic writing, critical analysis, and participation in extracurricular activities
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and academic culture
• Utilize modern, technology-enhanced teaching environments to enhance student learning
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students preparing for university admissions

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognized teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• At least two years of full-time high school teaching experience
• Experience teaching AP English
• Strong subject knowledge across the high school English curriculum
• Familiarity with standardized assessments such as SAT, TOEFL, or other academic proficiency exams

Preferred

• Experience with academic writing, critical analysis, or extracurricular activities such as debate or writing competitions
• AP curriculum experience
• Experience working in an international educational setting
