Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair buildings, equipment, and infrastructure across the college site.
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
- Use a range of hand, power, and machine tools to complete repairs and installations.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet maintenance targets and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments to address maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work and report any issues promptly.
- Support the Estates Department in delivering a high standard of service to the college community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in using hand, power, and machine tools for maintenance, repair, and installation work.
- A specific trade or relevant experience in buildings maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
