The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving department and contribute to the delivery of high-quality GCSE and A Level Business courses. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Studies GCSE and A Level courses to a large and motivated cohort of students.
  • Deliver vocational Business qualifications with a focus on practical, real-world applications.
  • Support the development of the Business Academy as a leading provider of Business, Economics, and Finance-related courses.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and collaborative teaching initiatives.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and student support.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Business Studies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business Studies.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with vocational Business qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a high-performing educational institution.
  • Excellent classroom management and engagement skills.
