The Opportunity:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving department and contribute to the delivery of high-quality GCSE and A Level Business courses. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Business Studies GCSE and A Level courses to a large and motivated cohort of students.
- Deliver vocational Business qualifications with a focus on practical, real-world applications.
- Support the development of the Business Academy as a leading provider of Business, Economics, and Finance-related courses.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and collaborative teaching initiatives.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and student support.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in Business Studies to enhance teaching and learning.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business Studies.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with vocational Business qualifications.
- Previous experience in a high-performing educational institution.
- Excellent classroom management and engagement skills.
