The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Assistant to join our Professional Services team and provide essential administrative support to the school. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a busy environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for external stakeholders and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first point of contact support for all external and internal queries, ensuring a solutions-focused approach.
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the school, including managing interview processes and coordinating staff training.
  • Assist in the monitoring and completion of staff training and probationary records.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed data inputting, ensuring all information is up to date and well-organised.
  • Work effectively under pressure, prioritising workload and maintaining a calm and professional manner.
  • Support the smooth running of the school’s operations and contribute to a positive working environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in administration or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and software.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of school operations and procedures.
  • Experience with managing training and development records.
  • Flexibility to work on a term-time only basis with additional days.
