Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development of teaching and learning across the school.
- Work closely with the Headteacher to implement the school’s vision and strategic goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- Provide professional development and mentorship to staff.
- Manage and lead key projects that contribute to school improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external partners.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment that promotes student well-being and achievement.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and effective teaching practices.
- Experience in school improvement and raising standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
Preferred
- Experience in working with service children and military families.
- Background in leading whole-school initiatives or improvement projects.
- Experience in data analysis and using evidence-based practice to inform decision-making.
- A track record of fostering a positive school culture and staff morale.
