The Opportunity:

As a Deputy Principal - Primary School, you will play a key role in leading academic excellence, supporting the Principal, and fostering a positive learning environment. This is a leadership opportunity for someone passionate about international education and committed to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal in leading and developing teaching and learning across the Primary School.
  • Implement evidence-based teaching practices to enhance student outcomes and academic excellence.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of the British National Curriculum, IPC, and IB Diploma Programme.
  • Monitor and enhance assessment, reporting, and performance tracking to ensure student success.
  • Coordinate professional development for all teaching staff to improve pedagogy and classroom practices.
  • Mentor and coach teachers to build a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
  • Oversee pastoral care and wellbeing frameworks to support student emotional and social development.
  • Lead initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in primary education.
  • Proven leadership experience in a British or international school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the British National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams.

Preferred

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or Educational Leadership.
  • Experience in multicultural environments and implementing inclusive practices.
  • Experience in managing change and fostering collaboration in a dynamic school setting.
  • Commitment to global citizenship and international education.
