The Opportunity:

As a Secondary School Principal, you will provide visionary leadership for Years 7-13, driving academic excellence and innovation while fostering a culture of inclusivity and holistic development. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of a school dedicated to outstanding education and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership for the Secondary School, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure strategic alignment with the school's vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of the British National Curriculum, IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme, ensuring robust and inclusive practices.
  • Champion a student-first approach, supporting the development of critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship skills.
  • Lead the planning, assessment, and reporting processes to monitor and enhance student progress and achievement.
  • Oversee the pastoral care program, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Secondary School, including timetabling, resource allocation, and facilities management.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain exceptional teaching staff for the Secondary School.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a Master’s degree or equivalent in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in British or international school settings.
  • Strong understanding of the British National Curriculum, IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and implementing inclusive practices.

Preferred

  • A successful track record in academic leadership and curriculum development.
  • Experience with innovative professional development programs for staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
