Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Design Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement.
- Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and community engagement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements in Design Technology.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and student well-being.
- Contribute to staff development and professional learning opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong knowledge of current Design Technology practices and curriculum requirements.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and leading cross-curricular projects.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools used in Design Technology.
- Experience with teaching in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
- Strong track record in student engagement and attainment.
