Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the school’s business operations, ICT infrastructure, and careers provision.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create a productive learning environment aligned with the school’s vision and values.
  • Oversee the management of ICT systems and ensure all digital resources support teaching and learning.
  • Promote and expand careers guidance and enterprise activities to support student progression and employability.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff across business, ICT, and careers functions.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and best practice in business operations and ICT management.
  • Work closely with external partners to develop career pathways and opportunities for students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business, ICT, and careers initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education, with a focus on business, ICT, and careers.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior teams.
  • Demonstrable experience in improving student outcomes and promoting social mobility.
  • In-depth knowledge of ICT systems and their application in education.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with school vision and values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational structure.
  • Knowledge of careers guidance frameworks and enterprise education.
  • Experience in managing large-scale ICT projects or transformations.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures in education.
