Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a dynamic and forward-thinking Science faculty.
- Deliver a compelling vision for Science education across Key Stages 3–5.
- Drive curriculum innovation and assessment strategy to enhance teaching and learning.
- Support staff through professional development and reflective practice.
- Ensure all students achieve highly, regardless of their starting point.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with curriculum and assessment reforms to maintain high standards.
- Promote inclusive excellence and ensure all students have access to quality science education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a Science department.
- Strong track record in delivering high academic outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of Science curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Commitment to professional development and staff support.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum and assessment reform.
- Background in leading department-wide innovation and change.
