Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging drama and theatre studies lessons aligned with Cambridge iGCSE, A-Level, and IB curricula.
- Create innovative and inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support initiatives.
- Support students in developing critical thinking, communication, and performance skills.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students to help them reach their full potential.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the broader educational community.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students in line with the school’s safeguarding policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching drama or theatre studies at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred
- Experience with Cambridge iGCSE, A-Level, or IB curricula.
- Experience in curriculum development and collaboration with teaching teams.
- Knowledge of drama pedagogy and performance techniques.
- Experience with safeguarding and student welfare policies.
