Key Responsibilities:
- Co-construct learning experiences that encourage curiosity and deep thinking.
- Create intentional, beautiful learning environments that invite exploration and discovery.
- Document and reflect on children’s learning journeys through photography, video, and written records.
- Collaborate with a team of educators and ateliers to support holistic child development.
- Facilitate play-based, relational learning that nurtures emotional and cognitive growth.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- Support the implementation of a bilingual curriculum that integrates English and Italian.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Early Years educator with experience in early childhood education.
- Strong understanding of or commitment to learning the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
- Demonstrated ability to reflect on and document children’s learning journeys.
- Experience in creating meaningful, child-led learning environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international or bilingual educational setting.
- Familiarity with Italian language or culture.
- Experience with documentation practices in early childhood education.
- Background in play-based, relational teaching approaches.
