Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-construct learning experiences that encourage curiosity and deep thinking.
  • Create intentional, beautiful learning environments that invite exploration and discovery.
  • Document and reflect on children’s learning journeys through photography, video, and written records.
  • Collaborate with a team of educators and ateliers to support holistic child development.
  • Facilitate play-based, relational learning that nurtures emotional and cognitive growth.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
  • Support the implementation of a bilingual curriculum that integrates English and Italian.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Early Years educator with experience in early childhood education.
  • Strong understanding of or commitment to learning the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
  • Demonstrated ability to reflect on and document children’s learning journeys.
  • Experience in creating meaningful, child-led learning environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international or bilingual educational setting.
  • Familiarity with Italian language or culture.
  • Experience with documentation practices in early childhood education.
  • Background in play-based, relational teaching approaches.
