Key Responsibilities:

• Teach music to elementary students using the Common Core curriculum standards
• Design engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
• Use a variety of musical instruments and technology to enhance instruction
• Foster creativity, confidence, and teamwork through music education
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development and school community activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or related field
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an elementary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Common Core curriculum standards in music education
• Proficient in using musical instruments and technology for instruction
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Advanced degree in Music Education or related field
• Experience in an international school setting
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
